Well it has been a few since I posted last and there is a very BIG reason as to why.
About 2months ago I had this pain in my left leg, it was a pinching kind of pain and it stayed with me for only about 2days and then it went away. I thought being it went away that I might have pulled something and it was no biggie and it was gone.
Well about 2-3 weeks after the pain in my leg I started having trouble breathing. I thought because I'm a smoker, and didn't eat right that was the reason as to why this was happening.
Well 2days after this started happening to me on October 15Th I was having a VERY hard time breathing and I mean VERY!
I was at my mothers house and told her to call a cab for me that I was going to go to my program first and then after that to the hospital to see what was going on with me.
When I got to the program in the cab I opened the door and I fell out because I couldn't even hold myself up!
A good friend of mine David ran inside and told them what was going on and they rushed out with a wheelchair and then rushed me inside.
I told them I couldn't breath and I needed an ambulance.
The ambulance came in about 3min. I was so weak I couldn't even make the step up into the ambulance.
Also I was loosing oxygen at a very fast rate! I passed out while in the ambulance and then woke up again in the emergence room with tons of Doctors and nurses all around me.
They started undressing me and poking me with needles. Finally they undressed me and took off all my jewelry and one of the last things I remember was one of the doctors saying "fuck this, her face is turning gray and her feet are purple".
Now what happened after that I am only told from Gypsy and the Doctors because it was REALLY bad.
Here it is in a nut shell.
What caused all this was, that pain in my leg was a
blood clot and it took 3 weeks to move from my leg to my lungs.
Most people die from having ONE blood clot I had THREE!
Blood clots go where there is air, your lungs, heart or brain. I was lucky because it went to my lungs, anywhere else I would have died more then 90% sure on that the doctors said.
I went into cardiac arrest for 7-8 min and they brought me back.
When they brought me back I was in a drug induced coma for 6days.
The doctor told Gypsy we are taking this minute by minute right now because it is really bad.
When I was in a coma I could still hear Gypsy, my mother, my brother and even my father came to stay by my side, I'm telling you it was looking REALLY BAD.
Gypsy said she said to me "Baby you got to fight for us" and then I shook my head as hard as I could.
Then she said "Show me those beautiful brown eyes", she said I opened one eye and a tear came out!
The doctors were telling her that because I flat lined for so long brain damage might have happened and to be prepared for anything IF or when I come out..
So after 6 days in a coma I just woke up! I woke up and asked for a cigarette first. LOL. Then I asked for Gypsy.
I was in ICU and when I came out I had all these tubes sticking out of everywhere on me.
My kidneys took a REALLY bad blow.
I had
90% kidney failure.
So after I woke up I had to do Dialysis for 4 hrs at a time.
They put a shunt in me that they use for Dialysis and people that are going to be on it for a long time.
It is right above my right breast.
So here is the rundown on what I had done to me
3 blood clots in my lungs
7-8min flat lined
6 days in a coma
Five 4hr
Dialysis treatments
3 Blood transfusions
Many Many IV's
I had a
PICC LINE (Mine had 3 outlets)
After coming out of ICU my body started to heal at a rapid pace on it OWN!
I had all the doctors scratching their heads on how I was healing after what I been threw!
Let me tell you it has been a long and hard journey for myself as well as Gypsy and my family.
I am very grateful to even be alive.
To be told so many times by so many doctors that I should be dead is a BIG trip!
I look at life VERY differently right now.
The whole time in the hospital I did not smoke however I came out this Saturday and I have had only 2 so I'm doing pretty good! It's not going to be easy but I'm going to quit them all together!!
I want to thank everyone who sent me flowers, a card, said a prayer, kept me in your thoughts or just sent out positive vibes!
It means the world to me also to know people were there for Gypsy when I couldn't be 100%!
So that is about it in a nutshell.
Oh and if anyone is wondering if I saw anything while being dead the answer is yes.
I saw a rainbow and dogs and cats. Some who I knew, some who I saved, some who I tried to save!
I believe I was headed to
The Rainbow Bridge!
So if that is where I was headed I am more then happy with that!
Once again God is good..& I'm alive and taking it day by day right now!!
